Oil carrier combines the properties of low volatility with rapid penetration and translocation in the plant. The insolubility of the herbicide in water assures full effect regardless of rainfall after application or stage of growth at the time of application. Translocation and root absorption of component herbicides produce extensive root kill of weeds and provide long term residual control.
